Four steps, start to finish
Small repairs taken and priced on their own, and a written quote for every job before any work starts.
Call with the one problem
Tell us the address and what you are seeing: a stain, a drip, shingles in the yard, a seam on a flat roof.
Look before any price
The slope and the details that fail, then the attic where there is one.
A written quote for that job
The repair in plain language, priced on its own, plus a straight answer on how long anything else can wait.
The work, then the walkaround
Shingles woven in, metal renewed, photographs before and after. We walk it with you before the final payment, and you keep the photographs.

What to do before a roofer arrives, and why it keeps the job small
Most roof problems are smaller than they look, and the first steps cost nothing.
Catch the water and photograph it
A bucket under the drip, belongings moved, and a few photographs of the stain before anything is touched.
Note when it leaks
In every rain, only in wind, or only in a thaw. That one detail separates a flashing from an ice dam before anybody climbs a ladder.
Look in the attic if you safely can
Water tracks on the rafters, damp insulation or daylight around a vent point straight at the entry, and a found entry point is a cheaper repair.
Ask for the smallest repair priced first
The repair that stops the water, priced on its own, before any talk of a bigger job.
Winter sets the roofing calendar here
Worth knowing before you start calling around, because the busiest weeks are the worst weeks to be choosing.
This market's questions about ice dams come in a cluster: what to put on a roof to prevent them, whether a roofer is responsible for them, whether metal helps. The leaks they cause arrive together too, across the whole city, during the first real thaw, when meltwater backs up at the eaves and comes through top-floor ceilings.
Shingles also need warmth to seal down properly, which is one more reason a replacement arranged for late summer or early fall is a better roof than the same job rushed in February. A small repair, on the other hand, is worth doing the week you find it.
- Active leaks covered the same day where light and weather allow
- Small repairs booked within the week in normal conditions
- Temporary cover quoted separately from the permanent repair
- Replacements scheduled ahead of the winter where possible
